Steven M. Katz, M.D.
Board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Katz completed both his general surgery and plastic surgery residencies at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He then went on to pursue a fellowship in microsurgery at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
In addition to Dr. Katz’s
outstanding training and research abilities,
he is also an accomplished and in-demand lecturer
and presenter. He has given numerous lectures
before such well-regarded professional societies
as the American Society of Transplant Surgeons
and renowned medical conferences that include
the New York Academy of Surgeons Research Conference.
Dr. Katz also offers periodic seminars on skin
care and non-surgical plastic surgery techniques – including
collagen, Restylane and Thermage ® – and
has written on many topics within the field of
plastic surgery.
Dr. Katz performs cosmetic
surgery to reshape facial or body structures
in order to improve his patients’ appearance
and self-esteem. He specializes in cosmetic and
reconstructive surgery of the breast, abdominal
and body re-contouring, and facial rejuvenation
techniques.
